[THE SETTING: my teller window, decorated with things I love such as photo strips, postcards, things other tellers have sent me, sleeperstar stuff and LOTS OF KING TUT!]
The customer comes to my window, and takes in his surroundings…
Cust: KING TUT?!?! HEHEHEHE…
continue obnoxious high pitched laughing for long enough that it becomes awkward
Cust: [in a serious tone] So, is King tut a boy or a girl?
Me: [long pause whilst deciding if customer is being serious or not, realize he is] A boyyy…
Cust: Oh, I’ve always wanted to know.
Wonder to myself… “doesn’t the king bit give it away?...”
