malaysia

November 16, 2008

i havent been to malaysia since june 2001(that was my first time ever). and i only went to cameron highlands. which was.. pretty bad. but im excited to see what malaysia is like. i feel silly saying this considering the fact that malaysia is so near to singapore.

i'm leaving for a 2day geog/history trip to malacca tomorrow! i gotta admit, after reading the itinerary, it does sound pretty interesting. and there's peranakan food, heard that it's really good. shall try it for myself. :) we also get to make rubber sheets, batik and ketupat casings (what's a casing?).

then, about a week from now, i'll be going to genting! yessss! im really excited about that. even though its for a band trip, we'll have loads of free time. roller coasters here i come! does anyone know if the genting cinema will show twilight on 27th november? i heard it comes out in malaysia then. since it only comes out in singapore on 18th december....

we're supposed to be in school by 6.15AM. i have this terrible feeling i wouldn't wake up if i fall asleep.

And yes, the peranakan food is nice, but make sure you try the chicken rice balls! don't go for the one at The Chicken Rice Shop, there is this one opposite Stad Huys(where they will sure bring you to). The shop is just after you crossed the bridge after Stad Huys, you will see a bank on your right, and the shop on your right. it will be very crowed so you won't miss it. And try the Cendol opposite Stad Huys too! it's amazing on a hot sunny day! ENJOYYYY!!!
