GOODBYE SUMMER!

June 14, 2009

Goodbye summer. Goodbye freedom. Goodbye internet. Goodbye TV. Goodbye boredom. Goodbye going out. Goodbye Rockband. Goodbye waking up late. Goodbye sleeping-late-becuase-I-want-to. Goodbye nail polish. Goodbye ballers-or-whatevers-on-my-wrist. Hello huge books.

Hello school. Hello teachers. Hello IW. Hello Homework. Hello tests. Hello quizes. Hello IP. Hello going-crazy. Hello classmates. Hello alarm clock. Hello lunch-in-school. Hello sleeping-late-because-I-have-loads-to-do. Hello planner. Hello uniform. Hello long-socks-that-aren't-even-long-but-are-long. Hello black shoes. Hello white sneakers. Hello Black hair tie.

Last day of summer for us today...

I have to wake up extra early today because it's almost every school's first day again (Classes got posponed due to Swine). I still have to pack. I don't even know what I'm going to bring.

And we have to wear masks and bring my own hand sanitizer tomorrow. They're going to check our temperature (37.5 or above) when we enter. For Swine Flu. This is going to be funny.

METRO STATION CONCERT! (I DON'T LIKE THE SWINE)

June 13, 2009

June 11, 2009. A day to remember.

I'm not really going to give in so much detail. Or maybe I will. So here's how it went...

IT started off with "Wish We Were Older" and ended with "Control". The whole concert was a crazy party! I was with my family again. And my sisters and I had signs: "BLAKE <3", "HI TRACE AND MASON!" and "ANT IS AWESOME!" (It used to say "DRUMSTICK PLEASE, ANT", but we changed it. You'll see why)

I was jumping and screaming like mad! Apparently I looked really wild and crazy. It's a good thing no one got it on video or anything. That would've ben embarrassing.

My favorite parts...

So, I saw Blake look at me when I was holding up the "BLACK <3" sign, so I waved and he waved back! Then I made a heart with my habds, and he did too! Then it happened again two more times. When Trace asked the crowd to sing along with him, he saw me and my sister doing so, then pointed at us, and waved at another time. And Ant did a thumbs up sign to my sister when he saw her "ANT IS AWESOME" sign.

Though, when Trace was looking diractly at us, he threw his water bottle, so we were all reaching out to grab it, then for some reason it went to the right, near my cousin and just when she was about to get it, some girl pushed her hand away and got the bottle for herself. We all looked at her, and she just rolled her eyes. The nerve. AGH. But it's fine, I was able to get Trace's pick. :) And I love the way Blake was dancing, too!

So yeah... I hate the Swine Flu, not only because it's a terrible flu that's killed tons of people, but also because my mom didn't allow us to meet and greet Metro Station. I know it's not her fault and I don't blame her, of course I wouldn't want to get The Swine, but AAAHH!

My aunt was supposed to introduce us to them before the show! But since we couldn't meet and greet them, we made them a card instead. We drew them and put a note. And when my aunt went backstage to give it to them, then said "Where are your nieces?" and Ant goes "Where's the drummer? (my sister)" So she explained to them that we couldn't meet them and stuff.  And after a while, this guys came out with my aunt, saying that they're cleared by the Department Of Health, meaning that they didn't have the flu, but we still didn't go. So they/Ant gave us a drumstick and they signed it. I haven't really seen it though, because it's "on quarantine" and I'm getting it on Monday. I'll tell you guys what it says when I know. I saw Ant drew himself though.

But even if I didn't get to do all those things, I don't care. I'm not going to waste my time because I had an AMAZING time, no doubt! It's probably the concert I've danced the heck out of me, the most. And they were really REALLY nice, and they put up a good show! They said they'd be back, I can't wait!

By the way, Blake really reminds me of Ben Romans! Hahaha! I'm going to tell Ben that soon. My friend told Blake, and he said "Nice." --I think.

I still can't stop listening to them.

<3 Theresee!

*Sorry it's so vague, for some reason, it was hard to type this concert all down.

I REALLY HATE USERS.

June 08, 2009

One of the worst kind of people in the world, would probably be arrogant-freeloader-users!

I don't know if I'm going to make much sense, because I'm trying not to give so much detail, bt if I end up doing so, then oh well.

You see... I kind of have "connections"/I know someone who can get me tickets to certain concerts in a certain place here, where I'm from. And it's just really annoying how some people would ask them from me, or call me up and let me bring them in.

It's NOT that I'm being selfish. Of course not! I just feel that... I don't know. When they ask, don't they feel somehow shy or ashamed to do so? I can't even ask "person I know" to give me tickets, until she asks if I want them.

And the ones that mostly ask are the people I'm not even friends with. Like. I know them, duh, but we're not... close, and we don't even talk and now they do just to ask for tickets? Is it just me or is it wrong?

It doesn't happen to me a lot, but it does to "person I know", and she usually tells my mom who tells me and my sister, and "person I know" is just too nice to say No to them, even if I think she wants to. Sometimes I even know those that ask tickets from her, and it's awkward.

Am I wrong for thinking this? AGH...

THE HANGOVERS! THE BEST MUSIC I'VE EVER HEARD!

Hahaha.

I LOVE ANTIQUES AND VINYLS!

June 08, 2009

Yesterday...

We went to this place with random stores (it's not a mall, and I'm not really sure what it's called. Haha.) And most of them had antiques and vintage everythings. Some were for sale but the others just for display. They had old posters, type writers, comics, pins, records, vinyls, glasses, shades, telephones, mirrors, shirts and my favorite, video cameras and cameras, especially the Pollaroid Instant camera. I've been telling my mom I want one, but they're always like "They don't sell that anymore" but I know people have them! I just want to know where you can buy them...

Too bad I couldn't take pictures and show you guys. I don't really know why I like them. They're just so nice to look at.

The main reason we went there was because my dad wanted to buy new vinyls and records. And hell, he did. He kind of disappeared from us, and we found out that he went up this place, filled with records. Probably the most records I've seen in one place. I'm sure there were more than 5,000 there, and the place was small and tight.

So my dad bought like... 20 records? Or more. They're all pre-owned, which made them cheaper, and ended up costing 4,500-5,000 bucks. But luckily he got a discount.

Why do people value the bigger vinyls than the seven inch ones? I see a lot of people have loads of them, but they're not even covered or anything, just stacked. Is it 'cause they're cheaper or 'cause they're just singles?

My dad bought me a red vinyl, just because. There was a blue one, but it was more expensive. The purple ones are the best though.

Mother said they used to have a whole bunch of colored vinyls before. Too bad they're gone.

I bought new wayfarers too! They're black with pink sides. Pretty happy about them.

---

Anyway. I'm watching Metro Station in three days! I'm not sure if I'm pumped enough already. But I did ask for a concert... and I got it. I just really hope my mom doesn't watch. I'm kind of scraed to meet them, bacause... Trace scares me. HAHA. I know it's really bad, but he does. And because of Swine Flu. They're coming form Japan I think, and they've been to all sorts of places, so I'm worried. I'll make sure to take lots of Vitamin C. Hahaha.

Peace. Therese!

CLOCK IS TICKING...

May 31, 2009

Random things I've randomly realized...

1. Summer's almost ending! I  need to make the most out of this last week and a half.

2. I didn't do anything "amazing" this summer, and didn't really go out much. But I'm going out with Ben tomorrow! YAY!

3. Pineapples are good. HAHAHA.

4. I'm succh a loser when I talk to bands/band members/ musicians --But I knew that LONG AGO.

5. The Click Five's new record is taking too long! And I'm too impatient already

6. It's been a year since The Click was here...

7. A CD I ordered hasn't arrived yet!

8. This is too random...

9. I'm scared.

10. I do NOT know how to blog.

11. I haven't made any shirts since last year, but I'm scared it's going to suck bad.

12. I haven't eaten breakfast... And I should now.

<3 Therese.

THAT EXPLAINS EVERYTHING!

May 29, 2009

So I was "lurking" around the internet and different sites then I found out about something that just explained everything to me!--or almost everything. About why The Click Five's moving to CA, or how the record's going even if Ben said they're indie now.

But I'm not yet so sure... Is an agency for music the same thing as a record label? If so, then that's great!

I'm not even sure if you get half of what I'm talking about. Sorry. And it's usually weird for me to blog about The Click Five here. Haha. Oh well.

<3 Therese.

My stomach is hurting like mad!

I NEED INSPRIRATION! HELP?

May 24, 2009

Hello The One Love!

So I've been drawing/doodling random stuff for quite a while now, and I have two notebooks 'Charlie' and 'Jason', I usualy just fill them up with lyrics or bands that I like, or any random thing that pops up in my head.

Now, my minds not working much, and I need some inspiration to help me draw. I got new markers yesterday, and that helped too. I was ble to make four new pages-or so. And my friend gave me this Tumbler link, of different htings that people make, but they make it on Photoshop or whatever, but I do mine by hand, because Photoshop really confuses me, but it worked too.

So, if you have any suggestions, songs, or whatever I'd be more than happy to accept them. :)

Thanks! And here are some of my pages or whatever. They're in my Facebook though, but I thkn you can still view it, and I think I'm friends with some of you anyway.

IDOL!

May 21, 2009

I woke up early to catch the show live, via satelite this morning...

I swear, I never even cared about the show. As in, if you ask me "Did you watch Idol last night?" or "Did you see ____?" or anything related to the show, I'd be clueless!

But towards the end of this season, I got into it. I didn't watch all the shows, only the ones with eliminations. [It happened to me too, last summer when I was in The States. Go Cook! :) ]

Anyway...So I'm so happy that Kris won! When Ryan announced it, my siblings and I screamed, even my mom! Because she was so sure that Adam was going to win, even if she didn't like him.

Congrats, Kris! And congrats to Adam too. :)

SOFTBALL!

May 06, 2009

Hello people.

So like I said yesterday, I tried out for the softball team again this year. [Everyone has to try out every year, even if you've already been in the team for the past year/s. And one of the tryout days was today!

Just so everyone knows, I haven't played softball for months. The last time was probably during our last game, which was... February, I think.

So today, we just did fielding, catching and trowing and "relay games" that have to do with feilding (one lasted forever! And it was probably the most tiring pne) more than etc. no batting yet, and conditioning. My god! I haven't exercised for a really long time, so when we had to do puch-ups or ab-work for the longest time, the "abs" and legs and arms hurt like hell! As in they were shaking and we were all laughing and screaming at the same time. Painful but fun. And I knew I made a lot of errors today, like not throwing properly and not having a "target"

So even though it was tiring and that my body hurts right now, and probably will for a while, I realized how much I missed softball! I'm going to the other tryouts, but I'm not yet so sure if I still want to keep playing next year... I have a month or so to decide. Help me out.

My legs! :(

<3 Therese!

**And just in case janella reads this, I think you should joing and try out for your school's softball team! It's really fun. You should probably save up for the glove (and I don't even own my own ball. Haha. Sometimes I jsut use my brother's baseball to practice) And my friend's a leftie too, and I'm sure they're available here, just look. ;) **

SUMMER JOB

May 05, 2009

Well, it's not really a job-job. More like a "job". I'm just helping my aunt with her art workshop for kids. Today was my first day, but it started yesterday, but I had to be somwhere. Anyway.

I was really scared at first because I don't really know how to deal with children, and I get impatient easily, but it turned out to be okay. There's one kid, who's two years old and he is the cutest! And he's really smart too, he loves Mary Poppins. Adorable. So the kids had to make "magic potions" (like in Snow WHite-ish, because everyday, it's about a different Fairy Tale) and he wanted his to be blue and to smell like bananas, so he said his magid word was "Blue Banana!", then afterwards, he started saying stuff like "Blue Fruit Salad!" or "Blue Pineapple!", so funny. But aside from thatm the "job" is fine. It's just hard when the kids start running, fighting, or when they don't want to do the activity and go outside.

But I'm excited for tomorrow!

And I'm going to be playing softball again. Try outs once again. Even those in the varsity have to tryout again, but it's okay, I'm scared and excited too. But scared. I don't know why. Wish me luck!

SUMMER RAIN...

April 24, 2009

It's all dark and gray outside. It just rained. Again. But I'm not complaining, since t's always so hot! But the heat gets worse 'cause it gets humid after the rain. I hate living in such a hot country.

I just finished my second serving of lasagna, and it's 6:17 PM.

Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. I can't thnk of anything to blog about that you'd possibly be interested in. But I'm already in the middle of summer, and so far it's been... borring.

But... The other day, I was in the beach with my family and my sister's friends, since we were there to celebrate her birthday. I didn't really go into the ocean, because the waves were huge. Man, I wish I could surf. I rode with my brother and other sister and dad on the way and he was driving fast! The speed was usually above 100, and I know it's not right, since the limit is 100, but it isn't as fast as you think, and it was actually fun. We got there at around 6PM already, and nothing interesting happened in the beach really...

I realized, that I really want to know how to take nice pictures! For the past few days, I've been trying to take nice pictures, but failing. And I wish I had a real pollaroid camera, instead of making my pictures look like pollaroids. So lame.

I can't stop listening to Hey Monday's music. It's so catchy and awesome. But the line from 6 Months "Meant to be together, meant for no one but each other, you love me I love you harder. So..." Has been stuck in my head for the past few days! I SUPER regret not seeing them live when they were here with Fall Out Boy, even if I'd only go there to see Hey Monday. I wonder how long it'll take for them to come back here... If they ever do. If you haven't listened to them, do so!

I aint freakin, I aint fakin' this. Shut up and let me go. Hey!

-Therese!

WEIRD DREAMS

April 14, 2009

Hey everyone. Haven't blogged in a while. Sorry.

So for the past few weeks, I've been having really weird dreams that don't even make much sense. Especially last week.

Most of them would be about my favorite band or their siblings. Like, they'd hve a concert here, and I almost got the chance to meet them again, but I forgot my CD, so I went to a mall, to see it they were going to be there. But I didn't end up going to the mall.

Or, about my family and cousins. One was that someone was having a wedding and my baby cousin was crawling into some limo.

Or! About school. Which is so weird because it's summer. I had a dream that it was already the first day of classes and my school did not look anything like my school. Then my friend and I were playing softball, but I was using a golf glove instead of a mit.

What in the world are these supposed to mean?

So anyway, my brother asked me to play baseball with him a while ago, so we went to the park. And when I swung, the ball went straight to his stomach. I know it hurts real bad--I've been hit A LOT. But I laughed. I couldn't help it! Cause I saw how straight the swing was, and it was a level swing. And I haven't played softball in 3 months or so. But he's okay. He couldn't stand up for a while. But he's okay. Haha. I miss softball.

Oh! And I made a MySpace too... http://www.myspace.com/peanutbuttahnjelleh

Add me up, if you want to.

It's past 1 AM. Going to bed...

-Therese

IF I COULD HAVE ONE WISH, I'D MAKE A WISH TONIGHT...

April 09, 2009

--This song is so funny [my title]--

Anyway, one thing I'd want to be able to do is: To be able to buy things online! I don't know why my parents don't allow my siblings and I to. If I were to do so, I could get so manny records and albums I want. Especially since most of the ones aren't being sold here. Or buy merch of different bands.

But if I can't do that, I hope I can at least buy from iTunes. Yep, even that I can't. But I still like buying CDs more.

Anyway, I'm atching The Bug's Life. It's been years since I watched this...

Peace.

Therese

I've Spoiled It For Myself

April 08, 2009

The Click Five's new record.

Yeap. I've spoiled it. I've heard all the songs that are going ot be there, even memorized some, and at least the chorus' of all. I found out who wrote most of the songs. I know who played special instruments and to which song they played it in. And now I can't stop listening to them. I Quit! I Quit! I Quit! is already in my Top 25 Most Played.

I don't know how some of my friends can not listen to the songs. I guess I'm just excited.

SUMMERTIME SUMMERTIME...

April 07, 2009

Hmm...I've been having summer for almost a month now, and it's really really boring. Probably my most boring summer yet. I don't really have plans. Not going anywhere special.

See, these are all I've done this summer so far:

- Watch seasons 2 and 3 of How I Met Your Mother

- Found new bands.

- I swam again, after years.

- Bought Rockband 2, but haven't finished it...

- Went out--SORTA

- Listened to The Click Five's new songs. Like I Quit! I Quit! I Quit! Amazing.

- Watch my friends go to awesome places

- Went band hunting. Well, a bit.

See! This summer is the crappiest. So far. I hope something amazing would happen.

Virgin Is Closing?!

April 01, 2009

The other day my aunt called me saying that she was watching CNN and she saw that Virgin Mega Records is closing. This is terrible. Even if there aren't any branches here, where I live. It's where I go when I'm in the U.S. of A. and Virgin probably has almost all the records and albums in the world. --maybe not the world but you know. I was able to find records that I thought wouldn't be there.

The reason probably is that people don't buy records and just buy on iTunes or download songs, both legally and illegally--people should stop doing that. But for me, I prefer buying records/albums, I don't know why.

And when I told my mom, she said she already noticed some of the stores closing down last year when we were there.

Sucks. Virgin is awesome! I love it there, even if it makes me spend a lot.

Peace.

Theresaaa.

I'm so freakin' hungry. :|

SECONDHAND SERENADE CONCERT

March 30, 2009

March 29, 2009, Sunday, yesterday.

First of all, I was never a huge fan or slow music, not was I a huge fan of Secondhand Serenade aka John Vesely, so I wasn't really pumped for his show and I only knew seven of his songs...

So we got to the mall (yeah, mall tour here) and had to wait in the "activity center" (where it was going to be held) for more than an hour so I was just eating my lollipop...

I went with my sisters, brother, three aunts (one younger than me, two older, but the other one just stayed in the back.), my sister's friends and my friend Kim/Ben --blogger, as well.

And the show began... Out of the seven songs I knew, he only sang three of them, so for the other songs I was just listening and screaming. But if was different form the other concerts I've been too, because I mostly go to ones that are scream-able and jump-able to, so I was able to appreciate it. ;) And he sang his songs with so much heart. Aweosme.

A thing I loved about his show was that he really connected to the crowd and talked to us. He was telling us how it ws his first time here and it's been a great experience, he wants to buy a place here to learn more about the culture and things like that. Then he said to us "Hey. How's it going" then "How'd you guys get those seets?" then in the middle of a song i noiced one of his strings broke, then after he threw it to us and said "Here. You guys want this?"

The thing I hate about people here who come to concerts is that they don't ask for more. Because he left without singing Fall For You and it just means that you need to scream for more or for an encore. And so he sang it. And the show ended.

So after, we waited for him to finish "refreshening himself up" and the raffle untill we got to meet him, and when we did. It went like "Hey. Awesome show. Blah blah blah" Then my sister asked:

My older sister:"Hey did you see is down there?"

John: "yeah, going crazy and stuff"

*picture*

then John gave me and my sister each a kiss.

Then we wanted to give his somehting, but we didn't really have anything give-able

So een if I'm not a big fan of slow songs, his are really nice. Maybe one of the few that I like... It turned out to be a really great show.

[this thing is so detaled. Hahahaha]

-Therese!

THINGS I NEED TO DO, BUT DON'T WANT TO.

March 23, 2009

It's March 24, 2008, Tuesday. 11:19 am and I'm bored. I realized that there are a bunch of things I need to do, but don't really want to, or feel like doing. Such as...

Cleaning my room or my desk--which is in my brothers room. It's not like our [my sisters' and my] room is like a dumpster but my mom keeps telling us we need to clean it soon. And my dest, it isn't messy, it just has a lot of things on it, but I know where each and every thing is.

Or delete more old useless files in the laptop because one day it's going to crash... but i don't know what else to delete, i'm afraid that I might delete the wrong thing.

Anyway.

I watched Anastasia last night... I realized how much I didn't know the plot of that movie/story, except that she forgot her whole past. Okay. Random.

And a few minutes ago, I found out that Dave Cook from My Favorite Highway [check them out http://myfavoritehighway.com ] saw The Click Five live, last March 20th, which I find so awesome, I don't really know why. Maybe the thought of watching one of my favorite bands come to see my other favorite band play a show is pretty cool.

Peace.

25 REASONS WHY I LOVE THE U.S. OF A.

March 23, 2009

1. The poeple. Most of them are really friendly. Even if you're just in a supermarket, store or in the streets.

2. TARGET! I love it there. I don't know why. They have everything. But I didn't get to see a lot in the East Coast

3. Micheals. I love that store,I think I can spend a hundred bucks there.

4. It's cold. Most of the time, unlike here, wherein it's like a hundred degrees; and even when it's Christmas time, it's still not that cold .

5. You can get almost any record there. I think I can spent\d a thousand bucks in a Virgin Mega Records store, or any record store actually.

6. Burgers, fries, and drinks in fast food restaurants are twice the size.

7. My mom's different there. As in, she lets me buy candy there, but not here.

8. I hold my own money. Not that I don't get to use my money here, but there, I can buy whatever as long as I have enough money, and I don't have to save so much because I know I'll need to spent them sooner or later.

9. Concerts there are cheaper. Or atleast I think they are...

10. Boston. It's probably my favorite place there, based on all the places I've been too. It's beautiful. Plus, Berklee's there. Not that I have any plans to go there [but I think my brother should--yes, Ben, George, not me] but it's such an awesome school. And The Red Sox! --my brother and I are going to live there one day.

11. My cousins live there. I miss them.

12. Broadways! I love watching them, though I've only seen two.

13. New York. It's probably my next favorite place there. If not, I just like it. Even though there are a billion people there. Time Square! Too pretty.

14. Snow--even if i haven't seen snow at all. It's just aweosme.

15. Bagels. With ham, cheese and egg. Mmm... I think that was my breakfast in Boston for four days straight in Finagle A Bagle.

16. Ben and Jerry's! Cookie Dough is the best. Ben and Jerry's is only available in the States, but that's where I had it the most. I'd buy one every other day, and even bought a whole bucket.

17. You can get almost anywhere using the Subway, or even walking.

18. Hollywood. I don't know why.

19. Theme parks! The rollercoasters there are huuge! I'm not even a huge rollercoaster fan, but they're cool and awesome.

20. Pizza slices are huge. Mmmm...

21. Diners. I love them. I love playing with the jukeboxes, even if it's eaten my coins like four times. And the food too, but I'm not a big milkshake fan. And there's this diner in New York-i forgot the name- wherein the waiters and waitresses sing and perform different broadway songs. I know the name had star in it. Or dust. I don't know.

22. In And Out Burgers. Even though burgers are bad, andI don't eat a lot anymore, the burgers there are amazing. And they give thos In and Out stickers, that are actually for kids, but they're too cute.

23. IHOP. We make sure we eat there at least once. I love pancakes, that's why. But I don't think I've ever been able to finish an order there.

24. I know a lot of people from there, that are pretty awesome.

25. I love it there, and I need to go back asap!

Random Stuff About Me

March 20, 2009

1. I am so bored, that's why I'm doing this

2. I'm really hungry right now, and pissed at my sister for making them cook insead of having pizza delivered.

3. I like music. Good music.

4. It's usmmer right now, and it still feels weird that I'm not really doing anything, since I'm so used to piles of school work.

5. Speaking of...I'm so scared for my report card, I hope my Math's okay.

6. I get grumpy a lot. And become really straight forward, as in, if I don't like you. I don't like you. :D Sometimes.

7. If I could do anything; one would be to buy stuff online. I seriously don't understand why my parent's think it's wrong. It's not like I'm going to buy useless things, or spend so much. I'm just going to buy a couple of records and merch.

8. I get hyper easily. I don't know why. My sister thinks I have ADD, just cause I can talk real fast.

9. If I could be anywhere in the world right now, it'd be in the U.S. of A.

10. I hate that I live in such a hot country, wherein it doesn't snow.

11. We have a dog, but we don't really take care of him. I mean, I want to...but I think he hates us now.

12. I don't like odd numbers.

14. I don't like it when people don't speak/type/text/whatever with wrong grammar.

The Red Jumpsuit Concert

March 12, 2009

Okay. First, I'm goignt to apologize, I think I'm going to blog maybe twice or thrice today. Okay.

No, I didn't go to the concert, because I had to study for my exams. Damn it, but it's okay, cause I don't like them that much, but still. My siblings went though and they said it was great and that they were really nice (I'm so pissed I missed that) But my brother was able to get me a guitar pick of one of them. So I guess I'm okay, but i'l be sure to go to the next awesome concert.

I AM A ROMAN ARMY MAN/ LEADER!

March 05, 2009

iHola!

For a Social Studies test, we had to make a spontanious speech wherein we had to choose one of the leaders we've discussed this whole year, and say his/her achievements and why he/she can ba a good role model to our country.

I chose Gaius Marius, he's a Roman leader and army man who helped the poor and gave the jobs, land etc.

She said we could have costumes to make it better, and of course I got one. I used this armor, shield and helmet we had here and made one or those Roman warior skirt things, and cuffs for my wrist.

Just so everyone knows, I am a horrible public speaker and usually get nervous during times like these, and end up forgetting what I am supposed to say.

I said my speech today and was actually the first for the day. Ohyess. The best. So i said my speech and kind of missed out on some points but I'm gled it's over. And after (i'm not bragging, okay?! I'm just saying...), I actually got an E! (that's like the A in our school) omg, i was so freakin happy cause I'm not ment to do public speaking and all those shizz. And I was one out of three who won best in costume! Yay, my hard work actually paid of.

So there. I'm still afraid of public speaking, sometimes I guess it depends on who I'm performing in fornt or, or for what subject it's for, but since I kind of spent 10 days with my Social Studies teacher in Greece, I was fine with her. ;)

-- Exams are coming up next week and I have this Math summative test tomorrow, and it's graded. Aren't they just supposed to tell if you leared soemthing or not? And don't have to be graded? So now, I must review everything, and slopes and solution and equations and nananananas. Wish me luck.

One more week!

[therese]!

MY IPOD IS ALIVE!

February 27, 2009

I am so happy. I woke up today, and tried to turn my ipod on, and waited for a few seconds then boom! But it had no battery. Strange. But whatever, it's alive! And my parents don't even have to find out what happened.

See Ben, [ I bet you're readingt this...probably weeks after I post this.] There's no virus, cause you're so negative.

Anyway. I really can't wait for the summer. 2 more weeks! Wish me luck on my exams. :)

[thereese]

WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY IPOD?!

February 27, 2009

Okay. My friend and I were tlaking about this band, then I was lik "oh, i'll listen to their songs now" I turn my ipod on and it doens't want to. The weird thing is, I jsut charged it and it was full, and I just used it. My friend thinks it has a virus. I HOPE NOT! It's new, I jsut got it 3 months ago and I didn't even buy it here, which might be harder. The warranty os still here, but I'd have to go to Hong Kong... Which will cost more.

If you have any idea on what's happening to it, let me know.

And pray for my ipod, i hope it works real soon! :(

Thanks, world.

What To Give Up For Lent....

February 26, 2009

Well, I guess it's a bit too late to think of this now, since Lent has already started, but oh well.

So I was thinking of something to give up, since we have to? [Well not really, but it's recomended, right?] And I was thinking maybe...Candy? Since I love candy, but 40 days without it...could be possible since my mom doesn't even allow me to buy it. Then, peanut butter? But 40 days without it..no way! But we do have to give up somehting we love...so peanut butter? Omg. I odn't know anymore. Maybe nothing. But that's so lame... Hmm...what else?

Anyway. In other news...I HATE LABORATORY! It used to be okay. And I know my grades weren't even bad, but we jsut took our finals a while ago and it was... crazy. I studied hard for it, I know. I freakin' memorized the process or Stem Cell, Karyotyping, PCR and thos blah blahs and it was kind of useless. It was a practical one, where we'd have to move from a statino to station, then answer the quetsions in 4 minutes. And not all questoins were jsut question-anwswer. It would be like Question-Answer; Question-Answer then Question-Essay! Essay? In like 2-3 minutes? My God. My paper was so messy. Oh well. Sir's problem in finding a way to check and read them...

Hope everyone's doing great.

The Weirdest Thing Happened This Morning....

February 07, 2009

06/07 February, 2009, Friday [last night/morning]

It was around 1 am and I was still up doing this paper or Asian dances and shizz. And I fell asleep at around 1:30 am.

07 February, 2009, Saturday [this morning]

I get up [with no alarm] at I-don't-know-what-time, but I know it was eraly. Then I go to my bathroom too shower and my mom enters our room, hears the shower and says "Therese, why are you awake? It's so early" .... I'm so confused... then she goes "It's SATURDAY!" ...I'm still confused and sleepy. "Ooh! Ugh." And she just starts laughing at me. So I had to remove the shampoo of my head and dressed up again and slept. [ Good thing I didn't put my uniform on.] Then I woke up again at around 10:30 am. With my ankle hurting like crazy, I have no idea why.

My mom's not here and I bet when I see her again later, she'll be like "You know you woke up so early to take a bath, you thought it was a school day didn't you?" Oh well. That was really weird. I geuss it'swhat school has done to me. Now I'm used to sleeping late and waking up so early... And now, I'm still doing school work, and will never stop wondering when I don't have to. I can't wait for the summer.

Guilty Pleasure

February 02, 2009

One of the awesome-EST things in the world is...

Peanut butter! I swear. I love it. I love eating it with...anything, even alone. HAHA. They said it has salmonella, but Skippy has none, according to my mother. Which is GREAT. And, no Chocolate is not better than peanut butter. ;)

Okay. Random post.

Change...it sucks.

January 19, 2009

I know I should be working sleeping but there are too much stuff going on in my head.

"Change... it sucks" it really does. Sometimes it's for the better, but what I'm experiencing now is change for the worst.

it's because of my friend, she's changed A LOT, I never thought she'd be like that, and everyone thinks so too, the only problem is, I can't tell her, sometimes I can be straightforward, but I think I can't in this situation. Believe me, I've tried. She told me "Hey, you should tell me if I change okay?" and ofcourse I said Yes. I've tred to tell her in simple ways, but i think she doesn't get it.

Another is, she lies. I mean com on! Everyone knows! Stop denying it! Agh, I just hate people who get caught, but still lie, you're just making it one big giant ball of lies! She makes it seem like she doesn't want it, but I know she does...why must she hide it?

But I know you don't know who I'm talking about, and you're probably lost right now, but I don't wanna say the situation and obviously not the name. But I just need to let it out. I hope I don't crack and say "you changed!" out of the blue. If you have advise, go ahead. HAHA. Be my therapist. HAHAHAHA.

It's been a while...

January 15, 2009

...Hasn't it? Well, I've been busy with school and I think I slept at 12 am this whole week, except yesterday. I slept at 1, doing this thing for my sister. But anyway...

I have no classes today, and relized that I miss blogging! So here I am [being random]. How's everyone? I just got new music and I'm excited. I'm not yet even done listening to all the records and EPs we bought in Hong Kong.

Oh, and Hong Kong and Macao were great and walking has killed me. I miss eating Ben and Jerrys at 11pm waiting for Oh-Nine and walking for hours in the cold. Goodtimes.

And goignt to the beach on December might sound crazy, but i went with my friends, which made it so much fun. Even if my camera died! I need to have it repared...

Anyway, hope everyone's doing alright and I'll try to blog as much and as soon as possible.

Peace, man.

YOU WAKE UP, ANOTHER YEAR IS GONE...

December 25, 2008

Okay, so the lyrics from my title is talking about birthdays, but it works for new years too...

I just realized how fast this year has been. So much stuff happened. There were goodtimes and badtimes. Here they are:

1. It's a new year!

2. I went to LA, New York, Washington and Boston, some time during the summer

3. The Click Five live in Manila-- That...was a night of awesome-ness and amazing-ness. I've waited to see them again for how long? Even without the meet and greets, it's all still worth it. The best.

4. Boys Like Girls live in Manila--Okay, that concert and meet and greet...one of the best nights ever. Martin! <3

5. Oh, and all the other concerts for this year.

6. Joining The One Love, of course!

7. New music

8. My awesome friends

9. Going to Greece during the sembreak with my friends--that was fun, even if some of my other schoolmates and teachers were there.

10. Hong Kong [in a few days]

11. The beach with my friends [in a few days too, but i know it'll be lots of fun]

Okay, so I can't name all the goodtimes of this year, and even with those badtimes, this year was still an awesome one.

HOPE Y'ALL HAVE AN AWESOME OH-NINE!

<3 Theresee!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Hope you're all going to have a wonderful Christmas with your loved ones. I know I have no gifts, but I hope the greeting's enough. *hugs*

THE RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS LIVE IN MANILA!

December 18, 2008

Okay...I forgot to blog about this again. Why am I so forgetful nowadays? Hmm...anyway.

So yeap. The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus is coming here to Manila, they were supposed to come here last July-August or so, but they cancled according to my Aunt. The show's going to be around early March, so I'm told [this better not be a lie, I'll confirm with my aunt...] but I'm not sure if I'll be going, depends if it's during my exams.

But, like... If I don't go, it's fine. I'm not really a hge fan, but I think they're awesome. But, why wast a few free tickets and meet and greets, so if I can, I'm in!

OH! And it's in the Ayala Malls, don't know which ones yet, but will find out soon.

Let you guys know more soon.

Peace and Love Love Love!

FALL OUT BOY AND HEY MONDAY LIVE IN MANILA!

December 17, 2008

Okay. Second blog for the day, but I forgot to blog about it, 'til now and I wanted to share it to the world.

So, yeap. The title says it all. Fall Out Boy and Hey Monday are coming here to the PHilippines. It will be FOB's second show here. And I'm pretty sure my sister really wants to go, because of Hey Monday. That's one of the bands "The One Minute Show" supports and I know she'd talk to them a lot.

I'll prolly come along, but it kind of depends. I didn't see the last show of FOB here, because my dad was in the States and no one would come with us, plus I think it was a bit expensive and I don't like them that much to use my own money for tickets. HAHA. So we'll just see if I or my sister will be going to see the show.

Because of Ben Romans...

December 16, 2008

...I've realized A LOT.

I'm reading his blog: "PLEASE READ THIS." again for the i-don't-know-what-th time, and it's been keeping me thinking. I don't know how to explain it but I know I've realized a lot.

First of all, I haven't been to Cambodia, but my older sister has, she went there last year with some of her friends and the school [like the was I went to Greece this year] and so I haven't been to the Killing Fields or to any of those places Ben and The Click went to; but I know my sister went to the Killing Fields. I didn't really know what the story of that was, 'til she explained it to me and when I saw the pictures of the skulls, man, that was terrifying. It's like a mountain of skulls, real human skulls of real people, it's like something you'd see in a horror movie, but it's reality.  Just to know that someone could do such a thing to such innocent people, it's just so....agh. Badtimes...

Human Trafficking.

That's the reason why they were there right? We'd talk about tHuman Trafficking as an issue in school because I know that it not only happens in Cambodia but also in the Philippines, and how it has affected so many young girls, mostly my age.

Which made me realize, that I am truly blessed. I mean, I'm here. At home. Safe from any of the sex trafficking. Safe form AIDS/HIV and all the other STDs. I'm not afraid to go out because I am safe, because of God. And like, God has blessed us with so much things, and sometimes we even take them for granted. Why?

I wish I could tell you something

To take it all away;

Sometimes I wish I could save you

...

Just knowing that 50,000 people cam to see their show the other day, to support those suffering from Human Trafficking is amazing. Isn't it great to know you're loved? To know that there are people who care about you, and are there to support you? We have to make them feel the support. Th care. The security. The LOVE. If I could, I know I would've bought a ticket and flown to Cambodia, but no I couldn't... But I do know that I will go to Cambodia one day, I don't know when, but I know I will. I'm going there and help all those suffering, I don't know how, but I will and want to. And I know that it is not only in Cambodia and the Philippines, that Human Trafficking is a big problem, and we should help those places too.

And I think Ben is right, the youth does have the power to change and so we should try to do whatever we can, to do so. I mean. Just the littlest things, can make change. And those little things, will soon add up to a big one.

All we need is LOVE.

Peace.

--okay. I don't really know if I'm making any sense to you, but it's just hard to explain how I feel about all of this. I just need to let it out and share it to you guys. Thanks.

A Series of Unfortunate?COOKIES AND PANCAKES

December 08, 2008

Okay... So my mom just asked me to bake a batch of oatmeal cookies, since she found this new sugar-free recipe. And so my sister and I do, we follow everything, and add all the right ingredients and all. Then we're ready to put it in the pan, we roll the dough into small circles [my mom said so, because she thought it would flatten, like the way normal cookies do] after about 12 minutes, the cookies didn't flatten. We keep it in the oven for a few minutes and decide that we should take 'em out before they burn. So..the cookies are round! After a bite, I tase...NOTHING. The only thing I could taste were the wallnuts.

After the oh-so tastefull cookies, she makes pancakes [yes, a new recipe again] out of bananas, flour, eggs and some vanila. And so, I help her out and all. And guess what...the pancakes are so-oh-so tasteful too! Joy!

And now, I have no idea who's going to eat these cookies/ balls and pancakes. I realized though, that the cookies are better if you eat them with syrup [sugar-free of course] and bananas...but still, I still don't want to eat them. And so, I eat a pizza instead!

GAH.

*My mom likes all these sugar-free stuff, since she's mad that I eat too much sweets and might get cancer or diabetes. :| *

The Click Five, Goodtimes...

December 07, 2008

I was just remeniscing about some old Click stuff I've done in the past...

I watched Kyle Patrick's old videos, the ones from Chaleston. HAHA

I also watched the Chomp The Box video...the best, oh yes.

I watched the videos I took from the two concertes of theirs, that I've been to.

I converted some songs that I've forgoten to since summer, like Rush, by Kyle and Karly

I looked at Ben Roman's old profile images in facebook, and I LOVE tham!

I read Joey Zehr and Ben's old blogs

Looked at some pictures

Watched the Summertime vid

Watched he Taking Five trailer..which I memorize

Watched Band Behind The Band..which I sorta memorize too. HAHA.

Played around with the boards

Looked through their MySpaces and Facebooks

...And a lot of random stuff that is making me miss them even more. Click has given me so much good memories, and it never hurts to go back and remensc about them. *sigh*

Peace and Love.

SLEEP < SCHOOL! AGH! HELP ME!

December 05, 2008

AGH. Don't you just LOVE shcool? It's almost 12 am and I am still up for many reasons. We're having our Exams next week and our teahcders are still giving us heaps of school work. Last night, I stayed up 'till 1:30 am, trying to finish some of my work, when I had to wake up early cause I had to be in school extra early today.

I need to finish two more small projects in two days.

Our teacher made us make a group presentation about being mayor something-something...and we haven't started since we're busy doing OTHER projects.

IP--Investigatory Project / Intense Pain! So, we're grouped, and we have to come up with this project that has somehting to do with Biology. Ours is using Gliricidia Sepium [ a tree ] as a rodenticide. Sounds simple? Not really. We have to make an RRL [ Review of Related Literature ] about it, and the hard part is all our sources have to be published, nothing form websites and they HAVE to be published 2000 and above ONLY. So, we go to the National Library here, where the people were so-oh-so helpful! OMG!...[ sense the sarcasm? ] We were able to find books though, and it took us about 4 hours in that hot place with six floors. Oh, and the RRL has a minimum of 20 pages! And I have to paraphrase everything and all that shizz.

Now for the RRL, we need even more sources and so here I am, researching my butt off when it's late at night, when I sould be sleeping. I'm even waking up early again tomorrow to go to my friends house so we can do this thing. AND IT'S A SATURDAY! I hope we can finish this already so all I have to worry about it the Exams and the other projects.

Speaking of Exams...that's another sleep-taker-away-er. I wonder what time I'll be sleeping again. I used to sleep at around 12, then wake up at 3-4 am so I could start studying again, then take a bath at 5 then leave for school. But the good thing is that, now our school changed the schedule. Now, we only have 2 tests per day, but 5 days of exams. I still think it's better though.

So, yes. I hope you're all having better days than I am. Wish us all luck! I hope I could finish this soon, so I still have at least 5 hours of sleep tonight! oh an, I LOVE SCHOOL!

Tired and sleepy girl, Therese.

zzzz....

Hong Kong and Click...HELP ME!

December 02, 2008

Okay. So I'm going to Hongkong during the break and I really want to buy somrthing. And, that's Click merch. So, if you're in Hong Kong or you've been to Hong Kong, help me, and tell me what Click stuff you can find there, that you can't find here. I've been there 2 years ago, but now, they've obviously changed their stocks and I don't really remember what I saw there. Haha.

So, if you're in HK, and you know what's going on in the Music stores and anywhere else, comment and help me. THANKS PEOPLE!

Love, Therese.

It's snowing!

December 01, 2008

It's December One! It's almost Christmas! And since it's December One...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ARABELA! >:D< I LOVE YOU!

Oh. I just saw the moon! It's so pretty. It looks like it has a face, cause the moon looks like it's smiling and there are two stars on top of it. I tried to take a picture, but it was so...vague. I wonder if you guys can see it too. Well, I hope you can. :D

Peace.

These Are The Best Days...[My Top 3 Concerts...and Meet and Greets <3]

November 26, 2008

1. The Click Five Modern Minds In Great Times, Live in Manila [May 30, 2008 9 to 11-ish 12 pm-am]

I was wating for this concert for the longest time, I had my tickets since March and the show was on May. So after all that waiting...I was satisfied. Even if I had to use my own money for my ticket, and my sister payed half, and my other sister payed ZERO. It was an aweosme concert, just like all the other Click shows. They played my favorite song, Don't Let Me Go! And all their awesome songs! It was so annoying...since the night had to end. Grr...

2. The Click Five, Live in Manila [October 12, 2007 7-8 pm]

This was the first show Click had here, and it was in an Ayala Mall, and I watched it for free. We were at the front, but the distance was still big. That night was TOO fast! :( They played about 10-12 songs, and the crowd was...wild. But the bast part was the meet and greet. We were the first to meet them, I think, and it was really awesome, cause they were really REALLY nice. Even if they just landed here, tired and everything, since playing the show was one of the first things they did because of what happened to the plane. They still made an effort to have that meet and greet. And, I was able to get Kyle's guitar pic and My sister got Joe's!

3. Boys Like Girls, Live in Manila [September 5, 2008 7-8pm]

This was the second show of BLG here, and it was in an Ayalla Mall too, and I watched it for free too. We were sitting in the front row, and I was at the bottom of Martins feet [i sat there on purpose] The show was fun fun fun, and we'd get wet occationally. At some point, Martin gives me his water bottle, and my sisters got other stuff too...but blah blah blah. Then we met and greeted them twice..i dunno why. HAHA. But they were really nice, and awesome to talk to, even if it was just for a while.

----

So those are my top 3 concerts and 2 meet and greets. I'd do anything to replay those days and for them to come back here. Especially CLICK. I'm never going to forget those days and once I think about them, I seriously smile. *Sigh* And the other concerts I've been to were amazing, but nothing beats these...

*and sorry, I couldn't put pictures...since I have to sleep now. It's almost 12 am and I have to wake up early.*

Goodnight...

Interaction...and BLG and Twilight

November 26, 2008

Our school had our Interaction with boys school today. And it was better than I expected. :) It was acctually fun. They're really funny and they taught us automobile stuff. So now...I understand how an engine works...barely.

So now I'm here, talking to my friend, Alex. And she's telling me about the Heels Over Head video and their DVD, and now I want it. HAHA.

And...I think I'm watching Twilight on Friday with some friends. But people said it's just okay, but I dunno. I'm still excited. It's 11:18 am.

Summertime Video

November 25, 2008

I just saw the video for "Summertime" by The Click Five. It was for this show LaMB and...it was not what I expected, but it was awesome. At least click was there...animated. But it's all good.

The Softball Game Today...

November 23, 2008

I want to say...

I'm not sad, I'm not pissed. I'm not disappointed at myself. I did EXTREAMLY well today.

                                                                   ... But...

So yea... We lost the game. By TWO POINTS! I failed to catch a flyball. I struck out in one inning. And I almost gave up

BUT! On the flipside...

I scored twice. Our pitcher was really good. We had good batters and I did try me best...guess I was just nervous.

And it was Tikay's birthday, and she gave pizza. And so did Jani's mom. THANKS TIKAY AND MRS. JANEO! :D

--so yea. I'm still sad, but that's okay. I have more things to worry about, like my tests...i'm obviously sleeping late tonigh. And we still have other games, anyway... --

AND CONGRATS TO THE WINNING TEAM! good job.

Internet. Softball Game. Tests. Deleted Blog. Micheal Johns. Concert Craving.

November 22, 2008

Hey! I finally got the internet to work again! wooh! But it's still slow...

Anyway...I have to go in a while since i have a softball game coming up. At 12: 45...but i have to be there at 11: 30. I hope I don't bring shame to the team. And, of course, I hope we'll win. ;)

But...I have 4 tests in 2 days. Tests for...Social Studies, English, Biology and Filipino...I am gonna die. I'm not yet even done studying them all. And our topics are...BLAH!

English- literature of: Indonesia, India, Thailand, and Myanmar, Vocabulary words and the atory, Ramayana.

Social Studies- The history of Greece, India and Egypt

Biology- DNA structure, Dogma of Biology, Monohybrid cross

Filipino- Tayutay, Talambuhay, Akdang Pampanitikan.

MY BRAIN IS GOING TO EXPLODE! I feel like i'm in college, when i'm not. So if Highschool's like this...I'm scared for college. Well good luck to me and to my batchmates.

Oh. And i accidentally deleted my blog about Rihanna-Chris Brown, Mondays, Tootsie Rolls, Advent, and Micheal Johns. oops...

Oh! and speaking if Micheal Johns. I did NOT go to his show. :( i turned the ticket down [which prolly came with a meet and greet]..i don't know why! but also cause i had no time and it was on a Tuesday.

Audrey went to his last show on Friday, with her family. Hmm...That reminds me of the 2 times i brought her to a concert with meet and greets...for free.

I MUST go to a concert soon! I have to satisfy my craving for a concert because the last time I went to a concert was September 5, 2009 -- Boys Like Girls.

Oh, i loved that daaay. <3

Anyway. I really have to go now. It's 10: 41! Wish me and my teamates luck!
