I think I might be the only person ever to run from an NKOTB concert, to a Razorlight show.

The night began promptly at 6:00pm. Cathy picked me up from work to see Ruth play at 3rd & Lindsley. We missed about half of her set...but the half we did see was phenom! Ruth - you were awesome up there! I'm obsessssssed with the "If You Don't Love Me By Now" song, so I was very excited to hear her sing it live.

Jade, Cassie, and I went over to Baja Fresh to grab some food after the show...then we booked it over to the Sommet Center for... NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK! Omg, AMAZING. I have missed pure pop music. This was so high energy, so perfect in every way. They weren't trying to be "artists". They weren't pretending they were "too good" for pop music. They took the stage and sang their asses off and danced their asses off all in the name of boybands and pop music. Perfection.

Then, I ran. I think it's only about 8 or 9 blocks up, and 1 or 2 blocks over...but I ran from New Kids On The Block at Sommet Center to 12th & Porter to see Razorlight!

Cathy was already there, so she told me when they went on. I think I only missed like 2 or 3 songs. We hung out with some of the guys in the band and their crew the night before - fun insane times. We met them on Twitter. No joke. Oh Twitter...hahahaha
Anyway. Their set was SO good. I highly recommend seeing them if they ever perform near you. And thanks Ajo for really turning me on to them - I hope oyu can meet Johnny someday :)
Overall...I have to say...what a strange night. I feel like it's nights like these that remind me why they call this Music City.
3 different artists/bands, 3 different genres of music, 3 different venues, 3 different fanbases...and I did it all in 1 night.
