Two nights from now, at this very moment

I will be dancing in the dark to the wonderous sounds of Butch Walker.  I've been looking forward to this for months.  Nothing will get in my way!!!

My intern Jen and her finace are going to be there, and I plan to dance with them.  I hope feeling comes back to my tongue by then so I can do my signature high pitched whistle.  It should be fun.

Tomorrow I'm moving offices!  I get to move into my very own office wiht my very own desk!!!  I am REALLY excited.  I feel like I'm really movin' up in the world hahaha

Really though, I've been in the same office, at the same desk for over 2 years now.  I'm ready for a change of scenery.  When I moved stuff off of my old desk, there were 2-year-old dust bunnies.  They were hot.

I'm going to decorate my new walls with Barry Manilow records and artwork by my roomie.  It's gonna be awesome.

I get my own TV, etc.  I'm gonna be bumpin the disney pop all day every day.  Get ready WB... :)

Last night, thanks to Brian Nelson (one of the WB artist's managers), Cathy and I went to see a guy by the name of Val Emmich at a free show at The Basement.  

I know of Val for 2 reasons.  1) One of the WB's artist managers used to manage him too. 2) He was Betty's gorgeous neighbor/love interest for a few episodes on Ugly Betty - which many of you know by now, I'm a Betty addict.

After last night, I now know he is also an extremely talented and entertaining singer-songwrtier!  And he's probably too beautiful to actually be real, honestly.  Go google him.  You won't be disappointed.  I'm well on my way to owning all of his music now.

Tomorrow Urban Outfitters opens.  I am excited.  I am sad that a music venue with some good memories is gone...but I'm glad they tranfsormed it into an Urban!!!! :)  I'll always think of Augustana when I shop for clothing and household goods there.

And with that..I leave for popsicles and sleep.
