Love is just a lyric in a children's rhyme

Last weekend ruled the world!
I got 2 new tires for my car on Saturday, and became $300 poorer. That wasn't amazing, but I suppose being a safer driver is pretty cool.
I went to a bonfire with Rick, and hung out with some of his friends that I met via markerboard a couple months ago. They were all really cool! We're gonna go camping sometime.
I woke up bright and early Saturday morning, and drove (almost) nonstop to Cleveland, Ohio! I stopped one time in Columbus just to get some gas, and refill my iPod. I got to Tower City Amphitheater at about 5:30-ish, and Amana Jo called me to tell me she was coming up to meet me there! Seriously! So I left her my extra ticket at will call, and went to Rib Fest.
BEST pulled pork sandwich I've ever had! I saw Rib Fest on the Food Network one time, and always thought it looked pretty fun. I tell ya, it was VERY fun! Lots of good food and fun times.
AJo and I ate elephant ears, took pictures, and drank lemonade, plus enjoyed the sweet sounds of one of my many husbands, Mat Kearney. He has a new song that sounds like a BSB song, which is pretty funny.
Ajo left, and I got ready to have my life blown away before me.
Keane.
Was.
Incredible.
I first started liking Keane back in late 2004 when I worked my frist job at Sam Goody. Their video for "Everybody's Changing" played on our video loop, and it was good enough to make me buy "Hopes and Fears". They were just sort of another CD in my collection until "Is It Any Wonder?" video made it to the Vh1 top 20 countdown. I used to watch every week at my friend Deejay's house, and we were both soooo excited to buy "Under The Iron Sea" (great album - if only I'd known the drama behind it). Then after a year or so...Keane fell off the face of the earth, and Tom left the band to go to rehab. ...and then they resurfaced in 2008 with a whole new sound, and their first album cover featuring photos of them (chopped up, of course). And then they released tour dates. Closest date that I could get to and not miss any work was Cleveland! So I went! And I cried...not out of emotion, but because I was laughing too hard at Tom's dancing. And the fact that Tom got hot after rehab. See kids? Drugs make you ugly. No drugs makes you a much cuter man, and super-energetic onstage. It's AMAZING how much sound can come from keyboards, a drum kit, and Tom Chaplin's voice.

So...on to my next obsession.
I'm going to see Spring Awakening next weekend with Leigh, Cathy, and OHL! I'm also going to Cassie's sister Emily's graduation party (!!!) I LOVED graduating from high school. It was probably my fave thing ever. Congrats to EVERYONE graduating this semester. It's a huge accomplishment, go out and party!!!

I just read some amazing news. I already knew Bye Bye Birdie was making a revival (I've never seen the show, or the movie, but I've heard good things. And any story about a rock star and a fan club contest is right up my alley)... but what I DIDN'T know, was that Nolan Gerard Funk (Nikko from Spectacular) is playing Conrad Birdie, and my own personal favorite Matt Doyle (from Spring Awakening, Bare, and Gossip Girl) is playing Hugo. I am so excited to see that fight go down. I plan to attend CMJ festival in October, and while I am there, I hope someone will go with meee! It's playing at the first GREEN theater on Broadway! Hooray for the environment, and hot potentially gay men singing classic Broadway songs!!!
My friends and I have been wanting to go to this place called Bobbie's Dairy Dip for a while. It's a little drive-in restaurant, with yummy burgers, and lots of ice cream treats. We went today, and it did NOT disappoint. Get ready for possible fun stories from Bobbie's this summer. I can see myself hanging out there often.

Tomorrow POOL PARTY!!!! @ Jade's. Saturday is fun day with Jess! Sunday I plan to clean my room. Monday-Friday is work...lots of CRAZY work. Then the next week is CMA Fest, then CMT Awards, THEN I FLY TO THE WEST COAST!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
