How do you document real life, when real life's getting more like fiction each day?

Hello from the Portland, Oregon airport! I'm on the first layover of my journey home right now. I just spent a few days in Seattle, WA, a few in Eugene, OR, and one right here in Portland, OR. Fun times. Seattle was jam packed. I spent a lot of time down on the waterfront, and at Pike Place Market. I ate a LOT of food, and last I weighed in, I gained 7lbs. Woops. I think I may have worked some of it off at the zoo yesterday. I got to see old friends, and family that I haven't seen in YEARS, which was pretty awesome. My Seattle friends/family have such cool stories and jobs and families now :) I got to go to a Mariners game - they won, and it was AWESOME!!! Eugene was lame, as usual. I've been back twice since I moved, and both times I am reminded of WHY I moved in the first place, and why I should never waste my money going back there. There are two good friends that live there - one of whom forgot I was coming the first night and had other plans, then had a sick child and couldn't hang out the rest of the time; and another who is a newlywed pregnant working woman...so I saw her for about an hour. The rest of the time, I watched a LOT of Cash Cab and No Reservations with my dog. My parents and I went out to eat a couple times, and my sister and her boyfriend came into town to hang out too. My mom and I went to Portland for the day yesterday. We went thrift store shopping, and bought nothing. We ate DELICIOUS gelato downtown, and visited all of my old stomping grounds from my days at Portland State University. Fun times. We got to go to the zoo and hang out with my friends Taylor and Jade - which was awesomeeee! Jade has new arms. Last night, after a yummy IKEA dinner, my mom and I got to see Rent: The Broadway Tour. The cast is (mostly) actors from various Broadway casts of Rent from over the years... including the original Mark and Roger: Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal <3333. It was AMAZING seeing those two guys in those roles. The cast this tour is SOOO good, so if you get a chance to see it, go go go!!!! I bought a poster to hang with my Spring poster, and any future musical posters I may purchase... which led to my mother's first stagedooring experience. No Adam Pascal - he's afraid of Portland Rentheads. All in all, a VERY fun trip. I'm working on getting myself bumped from my flight to Dallas, in hopes for free plane tickets. Wish me luck!!! I'm actually really really REALLY excited to get myself back to Nashville. It's too cold here, and I'm sure I'll complain about the heat in Nashville... but honestly, I miss my friends and my job!!! i'm off to find a candy bar. See you all soooon!

headlines, breadlines blow my mind and now this deadline: Eviction or pay RENT!
:)
I'm very jealous that you got to see Adam and Anthony in the show. I have never gotten to see it on stage, but hopefully one day I will. :)
