NEW YORK, NEW SHOWS, NEW MUSIC!

New York was so much fun. My friend Courtney was able to join me on the road for this show and we had a blast! I also had my friend Peter joining us from Boston and Janine from Long Island, so it was great to have my friends from all over able to come to the show and hang out!
I also got to finally meet my New York Street Team and interview with Rock On Magazine, as well as the coolest girls ever at StarStruck Media, so it was great to be able to hang out and have such a good time!
Everyone on the bill was amazing - L2, the Mellilo Brothers, and Tyna Q - I was honored to be able to share the stage with those guys, and everyone did such an awesome job! Tyna had to go back to Georgia, but L2, the Melillo Brothers, and I all went out afterwards and had a great time. It's nice to be able to spend time with the people you're sharing the stage with, because sometimes you're in and out so fast, so it was great to be able to sit down and talk for a little while.
After New York, it was off to Indianapolis for a charity benefit for Riley Children's Hospital. I got to perform at a elementary/middle school for about 250 kids, and it was probably my favorite performance I've ever done! The kids were singing along to "It Girl" and seemed to love the new songs as well! Everything is really starting to come together and when I'm on stage, it's feeling more like a full show than just performing a few songs, so that's a great feeling! We were able to raise $2,000 for Riley Children's Hospital too, so I was definitely pumped about that!
Then it was off to West Virginia to spend some time in the recording studio! I've been doing a lot of writing lately, and it was so great to actually be able to collaborate in the studio and bring my ideas to life. This time around, I'm working with a new producer and I'm really excited about the new sound and the direction the music is going in. I think you guys are gonna like it! ;)
It's 1 in the morning and I should really get some sleep. Doing some more writing in the morning! Goodnight everybody!

Chris Scott, Rachel Scotts brother, came to my school (if you're curious as to which school i'll tell you in a privater message) in September and from there we all started a chain reaction of kindness and compassion. So, I'm trying to raise as much money as i possibly can over $500 dollars that I could donate to Rachel's challenge.
