RECORDING, PERFORMING, & FEELIN LIKE A YO-YO
July 15, 2010
Life has been awesome lately.
I've spent some time in the recording studio the last couple months and I can finally announce that I have an EP coming out later this fall, and a brand new single coming out in August!
The first single is called "YO-YO" and it's about those situations in life where you feel like you're tired of being pulled in a million different directions...whether it's a friendship, a relationship, or just life in general. I co-wrote the song with my producer and I couldn't be any more proud of it. I can't wait for you guys to hear it! It's a LOT different from "It Girl" - completely new and different sound, but I'm really excited and I hope you guys like it!
I got to perform at the Delware County Relay for Life in Muncie, Indiana too. I didn't go on until 2 in the morning, but I got to do a full set and had a great time performing some songs that a lot of people had never heard before! Some of my friends came, and it was great to be back on stage again, especially for another great cause!
After that, I also got to see my friend Tim perform as "Troy" in High School Musical at a dinner theater in Indianapolis. It was such a great show - the whole production was incredibly well done and very polished. So I have to congratulate him on that. Nice job man!
Other than that, not a whole lot going on! Just writing and recording for this EP! I can't wait to share all of this new stuff with you guys! Get pumped!
See you soon. Keep it real. Peace and handpounds,
KOON
