The Alzheimer's Foundation of AmericaFamily Outing is a Korean variety show. In each episode, the "family" travels to a different part of Korea and lodges in the house of an elderly family while that family takes a vacation. During that time period, the "family" must complete the chores that the owner gives them.
In the show Yoo Jae Suk ( Nation's MC) and Daesung ( Nation's Idol ) are known as the Dumb and Dumber, lmao. They are really funny in the show!!

I got tagged in a facebook quiz and the results that I'm a 42% Asian, and watching Korean drama is included in this 42%. LOL. I don't watch all Korean drama, it depends on the storyline actually. I have to admit that recently I am addicted to this drama "Iljimae" starring Lee Jun Ki. I like the story, sometimes breathtaking, sometimes funny, kinda romantic, and it can brings tears!
On a night when the apricot tree blossoms were in full bloom, young
Geom witnessed the death of his father. The black emblem engraved on
the sword shone under the moonlight... His father’s blood was
splattered on the apricot tree blossoms... After that night, Geom’s
life became a wretched existence. He changed his name to Yong, living
as a beggar in the city streets.
One day, Yong (actor Lee
Jun-ki) remembered his past when he was being chased by a group 13
years ago (1644. 22nd year of King In-jo’s reign). Thoughts of revenge
didn’t occur to him. His dreams were to be reunited with his mother and
sister, recover his family home, and live with his family again. But
when he finally met his sister again, she was executed in front of him.
Revenge was all he wanted after that. Yong has a tattoo of the black
emblem, which he saw on the sword that killed his father, engraved on
his chest.
With the skills he learned from his foster father,
who was a small-time thief, he obtained information from the nobles by
committing his first break-in. But he left behind a red apricot tree
blossom by accident. When the officials found this evidence, people
began calling him the “Iljimae” robber. Yong discovered the existence
of a secret list, with the names of all the members of the secret
Chunwoo Association while slipping into a nobleman’s home in search of
the sword with the black emblem. Yong recalled that his father was a
member of the secret Chunwoo association. He then decided to use
Eun-chae (actress Han Hyo-ju) to obtain the full list. Under his
meticulous plan, Iljimae approached Eun-chae. Eun-chae fell into love
with Iljimae and the feelings became mutual but he kept his focus on
getting revenge and holding back on telling the truth to Eun-chae.
The
royal court was deploying all their forces to capture Iljimae. Shi-hoo
(actor Park Shi-hoo) failed to capture Iljimae twice during a stakeout.
But Iljimae suffered a deep gash from Shi-hoo’s sword. Bong-soon
(actress Lee Young-ae) discovered Yong lying half-unconscious from his
wound and she took him to her foster father Gonggal, who saves Yong’s
life. After learning that Yong is Iljimae, Gonggal became Yong’s
martial arts teacher. The stories of various incidents involving
Iljimae spread among the people who began to revere him as the hero of
the commoners. Iljimae robbed more noblemen to the delight of the
people!
Sometimes, Iljimae fought like Zorro, or used his brains
like MacGyver... Royal palace prosecutor Shi-hoo became obsessed with
catching Iljimae. King In-jo felt threaten by the growing reputation of
Iljimae as the king of the commoners and wanted him captured at all
cost.
Mysterious deaths kept occurring after the death of his
father. Small nail scratches are found on the dead bodies that keep
turning up. The shocking truth emerged... Who wielded the sword with
the black emblem? Iljimae then bravely embarked on his final mission!

Chris Daughtry and his band returned to the Idol stage to debut their new single entitled No Surprise. The single is taken from their sophomore album Leave This Town, due in stores this July.

David Archuleta arrived at Malaysia on 8th April. The airport was packed with fans aka Arch Angels.
On 9th, he visited a school. Lucky Sri KDU!! Went for a interview on Hitz.FM.
Later at night, Press Conference. He wore "Baju Melayu", a Malay Traditional Clothing. How cute!
On 10th April, the third day. He joined Hitz.FM's morning crew. I love the conversation :D And photoshoot with a local magazine. My friend told me that David had his lunch at a restaurant when we were hanging around the mall!! My god we're so close! The luck wasn't with us. Owhhhhhhh :(
On 11th April, the showcase start around 4pm. He played for only 30+ minutes.
Owhhhh you know what? He stayed after the showcase and met the fans! OMG i shouldn't left so early :/

As you all know, Blink 182 is back.this is the greatest news ever for all the fans, included me.And this reminded me of this Hong Kong well-known band, Beyond.
Beyond was a famous rock band in Hong Kong. They have always identified with the people of Hong Kong, as reflected in their songs about social issues, pursuit of dreams, politics, and peace.Formed in 1983,before i was borned! The members were Wong Ka Kui (vocals, guitar), Yip Sai Wing (vocals, drums), Ka Kui's younger brother Wong Ka Keung (vocals, bass) and Paul Wong Koon Chung (vocals, lead guitar). Beyond were initially part of the "band boom" which occurred in Hong Kong in the 1980s, alongside other groups and the few next albums saw several of the most important songs in the history of Hong Kong music.
In June 1993,when i was still 1, Wong Ka Kui sustained massive head injuries after falling from a broken stage on a Fuji Television game show in Japan. Wong Ka Kui fell into a coma and died one week later. He was 31 years old. His funeral procession caused traffic in various major city streets of Hong Kong to grind to a standstill, and almost every famous Hong Kong Cantopop singer was in attendance.
After Ka Kui's death, Beyond's first album produced was 2nd Floor Back Suite (二樓後座). Within this album was a stirring solo tribute to Ka Kui that was written, composed and sung by his younger brother, Ka Keung. They played their last concert in Hong Kong under the Beyond name on 1 February 2005, before embarking on a world tour, including stops in Toronto, Canada and various cities in mainland China, after which the band officially disbanded in their last stop in Singapore.At present, the band has parted ways, with each member pursuing his own solo career.
Wong Ka Kui's " 海闊天空 (Boundless Oceans Vast Skies) & 光輝歲月(Glorious Years) are two of their best known works.
Glorious Age ( 光輝歲月), is about racism and the struggle of Nelson Mandela in South Africa. The song, at the time, was a fresh breath of air in the midst of saccharin sweet love songs that were dominating the Hong Kong music scene. Wong Ka Kui won the best lyrics award in the Hong Kong Grammy-equivalent award ceremony.The guitar solo opening for the song paints the loneliness of Mandela's struggle. The guitar solo went on to be one of the most recognizable electric guitar rift in Hong Kong rock music.

Finally i found it! the miniseries "The 10th Kingdom"!
The 10th Kingdom is an epic fantasy TV miniseries written by screenplay writer Simon Moore and released by Hallmark Entertainment.It depicts the adventure of Virginia and her father Tony the adventure of encounter a stray dog wandering the streets of New York City. The dog turns out to be Snow White's grandson Prince Wendell under a spell by an evil queen who plans to rule his kingdom! In an effort to help the prince, they follow him through a magic mirror into a mystical world where trolls, giants, and goblins wander and fairy tales such as Cinderella and Little Red Riding Hood actually happened.
I watched this funny TV miniseries on 2003/2004 (i can't remember which year) when it aired on tv.I was still at primary school when i watched it and i can't remember the full title of this movie.What i remember are the "Kingdom" word of it's movie title, a scene of the dog Prince Wendell in a dog body found a dragon bone and said "big bone,bog bone" happily when they arrived at the Dragon Mountain, and a scene of Virginia and Tony went into a forest, ate those magical mushrooms which made them felt asleep.
Fortunately, with the help of Google and Facebook Pages, i found the full title of the movie and watched all episodes on youtube with a single word "Kingdom".Thank God!

Today is the 5th day of Chinese New Year. So far i spent my past 6 days with foods and tv shows.It's what chinese new year about, haha.
There are various of food you can get in CNY.
mandarins oranges are the symbol of luck and gold.
These beauties are whimsically known as love letters or in Malay,Kuih Kapit.A lot of work goes into making these as you need to slowly bake them over a charcoal fire in metal moulds.Once they are done,you need to remove them slowly from the moulds and fold them quickly before they harden.
This is hornet's net, or in chinese we called 'Bee's nets" because of the shape.Coat the mould with batter.When you fried, it will expand and it takes a few shakes to remove it from the mould and leave them to fried in the hot oil till golden brown.
without this mould,no more hornet's net.
Arrowhead crisps.in chinese is 芽菇.The arrowheads are sliced thinly and deep fried in hot oil.it just like potato chips!
Pineapple tarts. i like the sweet pineapple jam inside!
Sticky Cake or "Nian Gao" in the traditional banana leaves.The sticky cake is a must as an offering to the Kitchen God who returns to heaven to report on a family's behavior during the previous year. Chinese New Year is coming in 2 more days. this year i'm not gonna visit any relatives or friends because my grandmom has just passed away.i can only enter other people's house after 100 days, hmmmm i gotta wait until April to step in my friend's house. so now, less or maybe no angpau for me. no extra money for me.
The thing is, i need money for Rihanna's show which will happen on 13 Feb. i need money for Fall Out Boy's show in Singapore on 10 Feb. plus Jason Mraz and KL SunBurst 2009. it's ALL about moneyyyyyy.
No money,but homeworks are waiting for me! i'm catching up some subjects which i didn't study last year, in this Chinese New Year holidays,i'm going to study,study and study.( i hope i can do that,haha)

2008 is a lucky year to me.Lot of things happen and made changes in my life.I enjoyed it, except for the school life, i still hate school no matter what.
Before this i don't have computer and Internet service. At early July my dad gave me this PC as the reward of my major exam (PMR) last year because i got straight As :D
With the Internet, i made lot of friends from all over the world, get to know new bands on myspace.Without it, i couldn't blog here. It's amazinggggggggg!
I'm lucky because:
1. Went to The Click Five's concert on 7th June and made some friends. The concert was brilliant :)
2. Attended the national cheer leading competition 2008 on 13th and 14th July.There were 42 teams and my team, Calyx was the 14th place. well i'm satisfied with the result because we didn't make it to the top 15 on day 1. On day 2 we performed better :)
I feels the spirit again after watching it again.That was an awesome experience!
3. Went to MTV Asia Awards on 2nd August! Thanks to Sylvia for the tix :) Insane award show. I had a very good time even though we didn't sleep for the whole night and waited for the bands.Met the bands and got to say hi to them, grabbed some hugs,autograph and picture :D Wheeeeeee!
4. I didn't make it to Avril Lavigne's concert on 29th August and i was disappointed.But i went to "stalk" her before the concert. and guess what? I met her and asked an autograph! well, i asked for a picture but i couldn't get it. hey this is the best that she can give me. i never though that i can met her, face to face, spoke to her, and received a sweet smile from her!

5. Received an email from Cassie on 9th October. I become one of the blogger on The One Love! thanks to Cassie :)
Next year is my final year in high school.Gotta study hard and hopefully can get a scholarship that can help me study oversea. hopefully,yeah.
These things made my 2008 wonderful. and i believe we can make our 2009 better. Try your best to achieve what you want, do not give up easily.

I am always facing transport problem, almost every problem I have is because I CAN’T DRIVE. These are some examples:
1. Me and my friends always having this damn transport problem when it comes to outing. We’ll have to choose a right date and time where everyone’s parents is free to drive us. You know how hard to make sure everyone is fine with the chosen date and time? And I just get so pissed off
2. If I can drive, I can drive to school after I missed my school bus early in the morning, so I dont have to wake my dad up to send me to school and getting scolded by my dad. .
3. I need a job to earn some money. If I can drive to my working place, my parents don’t need to worry about their daughter who will take public transport after finishing working late night.
4. If I can drive, I won’t missed The Click Five’s show last year, just because of my parent can’t send me there!
There are still lots of trouble actually!
Driving is important for me because I don’t have a full-time driver, and I spent plenty of time waiting for buses, exposed under the hot sun or rain, and also danger. I need a driving license!

This pop-rock power couple, also my favorite couple named their baby son Bronx Mowgli Wentz.He was borned on 20 Nov 2008 and weighed 7 lbs., 11 oz., and was 20 1/2 inches long.

7 Nov 2007 was a meaningful day for me. I met The Click Five for the first time on their autograph session last year, and met 3 friends: Carmen , May and Sylvia on the same day. They were the first clicker I met in my whole life. I still remember that I went to that autograph session alone, started queuing 5 hours before the autograph session start. Carmen who was queuing beside me spoke to me: “Are you alone?” and she kindly invited me to join her conversation with May, Sylvia and her friends.
I don’t dare to talk with them because I can’t speak well in English. Awkward. She also introduced me to Sylvia and May later on. I just stood there and listened to them. I know how weird I was.
And the autograph session started, blah blah blah….it was amazing even though packed! But the main point is, I met these awesome girls one year ago, it’s really great to meet them.

Well, i must confess that i have no time to check out the bands who blog here before. so i checked out Article A's, Honor Society's and The Crash Moderns' myspace on wednesday,after my final exams,and listened to their music.
I love The Crash Moderns' music when i heard it for the first time! i should kick myself for this late discover.
Their debut full length record, Goodnight Glamour, Good Morning Disaster reported selling out of the first run of this breakout record within days of its April 2008 release.Their songs are amazing,catchy, and they are good looking too xP Check out their myspace and TOL blog
They also performed at T.T The Bear (Boston) with Atomic Tom and more, i hope The One Love can bring them here to malayisa next time,or, they can throw a show here.I'm dying to meet them! I was doing my revision 20 minutes ago cause i have chemistry test tomorrow, but my brain just can't absorb what I've read from the reference book.For me, chem is boring =.=

I was bored this afternoon. Totally bored! watched tv for a while, and found something which i think i should share it with all the bloggers here. the malaysian bloggers sure did watched this before,unless you didn't watch tv. haha!
These are some advertisement about the new curry flavour of this instant noodles.I don't know this is creative or crazy.

Anyway,this is such an interesting way of describing just how HOT Mamee's new curry flavour is. Maybe we should all start keeping a fireman on standby at home =)
Yesterday i went to three mall and digging for We The Kings' album and Taking 5 dvd. after looking at 5 cd stores, i still came out with empty hand :( this self-titled debut album has been released in the States for how longggggggggg and we still can't get it in malaysia.sigh.
In case you haven't heard of this band yet,they are an American pop/powerpop band from Bradenton, Florida. They are signed to the independent label S-Curve Records (distributed by EMI Music), and their debut full-length was released in October 2007.(See! =.=) Since then they have completed a variety of tours, most recently the Vans Warped Tour, and in October 2008 they are scheduled to begin another co-headlining tour with The Academy Is.... The band also sports their own miniature series of webisodes, called The King's Carriage, detailing life on their tour bus. The band will begin recording their new album in January of 2009.
The band has toured with bands such as Cobra Starship, Valencia, Just Surrender, Metro Station, Boys Like Girls, All Time Low, The Audition,Cute Is What We Aim For, Danger Radio, Madina Lake, Mayday Parade, and Powerspace.How i wish i can catch these great bands!
I have no idea when will i get their record in my hand.i've listened to their songs and i really like it,so i'm dying to grab the album!
i had a dream last thursday night, it doesn't make sense at all.It sounds :
"The One Love is throwing a show in malaysia.they will even give a talk in the secondary school to promote/introduce The One Love to the teenagers who cannot attend the show.(The show is ONLY for 18 and above,again!)
Fortunately,my school is the chosen one,TOL is coming to my school! all my friends have no idea why i went crazy after received this news.i can't wait to meet the one lovers! i even went to my discipline master asked his permission to bring camera to school. fyi:we are not allowed to bring cell phone,mp3 player and even candy to school as well =.=
On that "big" day,all the student went to the school hall for the talk included my camera,hanging 'round my neck =) everything was set up,the talk is ready to go! i don't know how many one lover were there, i saw Ben, Cassie, Jade, Cathy and the others!
Ben started:"what is The One Love? who are we actually?" i raised my hand immediately,i know! well,i was the only one who raised the hand,obviously my schoolmates didn't know about TOL. okay,forget it,the talk continued.i was busying taking picture of them. and i can't remember about the talk, lol.
i was supposed to go back to class after that,but i slipped to back stage,haha! i met cassie and ben,told them that i'm glad to have TOL in malaysia. i also went to the other one lovers and disturb them. i got to know all the one lovers there and took pictures with them. hooray!"
well,the dream is weird but sweet.i guess i was just too psyched after knowing i can blog on TOL. and i also realized that it's time to promote TOL in my school!

I found The One Love from The Click Five's myspace,i think this is a really cool project.I've been reading some of the blogs here before,i can't believe i can blog here like these great bloggers. about the charity i chose,Alex Band's Donate Life Rocks, is helping people who are waiting for a life saving organ transplant.Like it said on the page,organ donation is all about LIFE. When you donate your organs you give someone the most precious gift--a chance to live, a chance to "get their life Back." Transplants provide hope for thousands of people with organ failure.I think we,the fortunate should really offer our help to these people who are still suffering.other than donating,take care of your own body as well, and stop those self-injury!
I had a dream last night, sweet dream. i'll tell you in the next post =) now i'm going to party because i'll having a one week holidays, actually it just started after my math paper (screw it! i hate math) hehe!
