Isaac and England [part 2]
March 04, 2009
So I walked to my favorite store [the only store] nearby, the BP, and got to walk in this time. So I ordered the healthiest looking breakfast meals that you can buy at a gas station, which included a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich, sausage roll and a blueberry muffin.
Instantly I regretted getting the sausage roll, which tasted awful, then the bacon in the other sandwich was very discomforting [because bacon is normally a very comforting {for the human, not the pig}]. After eating the burger yesterday and the sausage and bacon today, I am beginning to think bad meat is an British thing. It could be because our meat is so processed and fake that when I taste a pure un-processed meat I gag [hopefully it's not the other way around, that their meat is more processed than ours {if possible}]
Maybe their teeth is a result of their horrible meat?
But after eating those items, I look down at my blueberry muffin and think, "you can't screw up a muffin". After the first taste I realized that is the truth. I think even the Bible says "you can't screw up a muffin" [and if it doesn't say it maybe we could add that line of truth and wisdom].
Regardless, when traveling abroad on an empty stomach, remember one thing. Get the muffin.
your friend,
-Isaac
