That really is what she said!

So yesterday I heard "that's what she said" in a real conversation.

When I heard it I was prepared to be offended as I tried to figure out what she said or meant.

A guy was talking about how his brother has 15 children. Somebody suggested it would probably be easier to homeschool than to get all 15 kids ready for school each day and then the sister-in-law replied, "that's what she said" referring to the mother of these children.

I was trying to figure out if it was another really unfunny joke or if she really did say it, and for the first time ever, I laughed after hearing "that is what she said" because it wasn't referring to some prostitute that says a lot of things.
