when equity speaks...

i work in music for music. i dont work in it to overcompensate for the fact that i am not a rock star or to ease the pain of a boring day to day life. i work in music to spread music. whether i like the tunes or not, i want them out there because they just might be what someone needs to hear.

i am glad to be on tour, solely for that reason the most. i could live on a bus and sleep in a bunk and not talk to anyone else other than the fans if needed because i believe in it so much. i just love it.

but i cant complain about the people i work for and the amount of chicken nuggets i eat with sam at 5 am. its always wa good time.

plus while on tour with www.myspace.com/ballashoughband i have gotten to hang out with and hear some super awesome other groups.

i love the king, aka vic kingsley, and his band.  seriously such awesome dudes who are stellar musicians. www.myspace.com/vickingsley   (i love the king so much, on a day off i did his laundry. so that should speak volumes.)

also, the bolts. i mean there could prob not be a funnier group of guys. they rock so hard and they are super nice guys. plus, my laughter has made it into the background of one of their video blogs. www.myspace.com/theboltsmusic

and also, i didnt actually get a chance to talk to these dudes but they sounded really awesome and they had a huge crowd as a local opener in atlanta so that should speak volumes for them. myspace.com/rudyvaughn

alright, so basically i learned i love music and accept things that come along with it. i love new people although it takes me a bit to warm up to them as myself. i miss people when i am on the road a lot. bunks are tiny places usually. and new music is everywhere you just gotta be open minded enough to hear it.

oh and crazy drunks do not like the ballas hough promo cards cause one threw them at my face as he shouted at me. i loved it.

and i love roulette now but i need sam and kat behind me as i play because sam is my brain and cheerleader as he shouts EQUITY and kat laughs a lot which i love.
