Remember, Remember the 11th of November~ Taylor Swift

I am a huuuge taylor swift fan. Like seriously, I don’t know why I like her so much but I do. I just recently dragged caroline to the taping of crossroads and sing her songs all the time even though no one else likes them.

I admire anyone that can write a song. Ive tried before but I don’t think I could make a living out of it. The way Taylor words things are so beautiful and I look up to that. But what is even more impressive is that she CARES. Taylor Swift cares. She LOVES her fans and lets them know it. I admire that, she doesn’t just blow them off. She realizes that she wont go anywhere without them and its incredible to see her interaction. I WANT to work for someone like taylor. After last night/this morning I have officially made it a goal of mine to work for musicians that love what they do and appricaite the fans. Not only was she really nice, but the people that work for her were incredibly nice too. They went up to people and made converstation and thanked them for coming. What? Who does that? PEOPLE THAT DESERVE TO WORK IN THE INDUSTRY DO! I know what is like to be a fan and be rejected, and I know what it is like to be a fan and be appreciated. I am still fans of those bands that appricate me and they have stuck around, and those other bands aren’t around anymore because they didn’t care.

 On my way to work yesterday I read a very long bulletin from taylor and  the very last part of it said “P.S. I heard a great place to buy the first copy is the Wal Mart in Hendersonville, TN. It's so great, I might just go there myself and pick one up.” Very subtle but I got the hint.

I have 2 tests today but I appriciate taylor so much that I went.. I drove over an hour to get there which was nothing compared to the girls who drove from Athens Georgia. But me and 6 others went because we are fans.

I AM A FAN OF TAYLOR SWIFT. Judge me if you want, everyeone else does, but I don’t care.

Taylor came in at midnight and there was about 200 ppl there. As I was buying a cd at the cash registar she was escorted to the front of the line so she could buy her own cd, but didn’t want to cut because she said it was bad luck and wanted to wait in line just like everyone else. 

She was being filmed by a few news channels and her vlog people were there taping but no one seemed to annoy taylor as she tried to walk thru the store and was being mobbed.

Altough Taylor was only there for about 15 mins, the presence of this beautiful thankful girl was shining throughout walmart. She could barely walk even though she was being escorted through the store but you could tell that she was so happy to be there. I am disappointed for the little 7 year old girls who look up to taylor swift and girls who drove from Athens and even 5 out of the 6 girls I went with who didn’t get to meet her, but she had somewhere to go and apologized and thanked everyone profusely. And honestly she took tons and tons of pictures. And signed as much as she could. Like she said, she was going to buy her cd, and sadly not many people got to “meet” her but she never said she was going to do a signing.

I am biased, but I thought she was NOTHING but graciaous, the girls from Athens didn’t care that they didn’t get to meet her, they were so happy that they saw their idol and got to be in the same store with her.

Taylor isnt my idol, but I look up to her a lot. Everything happens for a reason and somehow I got to meet her. I guess I was just standing in the right place at the right time. Ive thought about it for a long time that if I were to ever meet her what I would want to say. I had hoped that I wouldn’t be surrounded by a couple hundred people when telling her what I had thought of but I will take what I get.

Taylor was being escorted out of the crowd but stopped and took a picture with me. She took my camera and took  a pic and even made sure it worked (it was the worst pic of me ever)

Then someone shoved a cd in her face and she signed it. Then I handed her my cd and said. “ I moved to Tennessee so I could make the connections and work in the industry…”

She stopped signing and looked at me.

“I just wanted to let you know that I hope that when I am done with school, I can work for someone like you.

She looked at me and put her hand on my shoulder and said awww, thanks Thanks for coming. I am really glad you told me that, not because its nice to hear but because it really does mean a lot to me.

Then I said,  thanks for caring, you get that fans mean everything and I admire that and hope that when I am done with school the artist i will work for will understand that.

And she then said, awww that means a lot to me, thank you for telling me that. Then she said something along the lines of keep at what you are doing! btw you have really pretty eyes… no seriously you have nice eyes.

Whether she meant it or not, I don’t care. I care that she was nice to me. I will stick up for taylor swift, because when I have kids, I will have them listen to her songs and hope that they have someone as wonderful as her to be their role model.
