My First Post

Hey everybody! I just wanted to start off my blog with a post that would let you get to know me a little bit about myself. This is essential for you because it'll be the deciding factor when you choose whether or not to read my future blogs (but I'm sure that once you get to know about me, you'll simply fall in love).
Let's see... what is the most important thing to know about me? I am a girl! That seems quite important. I am a girl who is currently 17, a junior in high school, and who has had the same boyfriend since June 28, 2006. That's right, we've been together exactly... 967 days as of February 19, 2009. That is a LOOOONG time, but honestly, I'm not complaining. Most people would think that since I am so young, I would get bored of being with the same person for so long, especially since he has been my only boyfriend... ever, but he has such an amazing personality that it is virtually impossible not to have fun around him.
I am the definition of a female nerd. I play video games, read comic books, and do other nerdy things, but I enjoy it. As for video games, I own an Xbox 360, where I play Fable 2, Gears of War, Rock Band, Guitar Hero, and more, a Nintendo DS, where my most played game is Pokemon Diamond, and an amazing laptop so I can play World of Warcraft. When it comes to comic books, I am Harley Quinn's #1 fan. She is my woman. Now understand, I am straight, do not like girls, but I would so do Harley Quinn. She is hot, adorable, funny, all around amazing. She is my woman. Other than her, I really like female superheros like Hell Cat and Mistique, but I'll read other things as well, like Deadpool. He is such a bitch, but that's what makes him so amazing. The joker is by far my favorite male villian, which leads into my favorite movie, The Dark Knight.
Um... I am a panda fanatic. I currently have... I'd say 9 panda stuffed animals on my bed, as well as a million other little panda things. They are just so cute and it would be terrible to see them go extinct. Something needs to be done to help our endangered friends.
Music consumes the rest of my life, especially Family Force 5. They are the soundtrack to my life. I saw them live for the first time while they were on Warped Tour this past summer, but I have been in love with them for years now. They have also been something that my boyfriend and I have bonded over, because they are... I'm pretty sure... the only band that we both really like. We don't have the same taste in music, really, but it was great finding a band that we both agree on.Otherwise, I really like that song that is being used for the Watchmen by Smashing Pumpkins, The Begining is the End of the Begining, I think it is called. Correct me if I'm wrong, but still, that is a great song.
