CD's I need in my life/Overrated releases
May 28, 2009
- It's weird even calling them CD's because what I mean are digital MP3s...
1) THE JONAS BROTHERS "Lines, Vines, and Trying Times". The single "Paranoid" is incredible, the video is even better. What I don't understand is why Joe is even in the band when he stands there and sings 2 lines during the chorus. Just kidding we all know he's in the band because he's good looking and sometimes playing tambourine live.
2) AS CITIES BURN "Hell or High Water". Although they are no longer a band, this CD is probably their best yet. Their sound is a complete 180 from what it used to be, in a good way. What I don't understand is how all of their old fans who mainly listen to hardcore and metal are really into this release and somehow not into so many other bands who sound really similar to that style.
3) MELODY CLUB "Goodbye to Romance". I actually just got this yesterday and it is by far the best pop album of all time SERIOUSLY. I've been into this band for a few years now and missed their only show in the United States and still hate my life because of it. It always pleases me when a band continues to put out new records just as good, if not better, than their last (cough cough unlike Green Day).
- LIST OF RECENT CD RELEASES THAT ARE EXTREMELY OVERRATED
1) GREEN DAY (Disappointing. I hate when bands try too hard and it just sounds contrived and auto-tuned and forced.)
2) LADY GAGA (Put some dang pants on woman!)
3) TAYLOR SWIFT (Can't stand her... I just... can't.)

Paranoid is insanely good. For the first time in 5 years of knowing the JBs I'm actually genuinely EXCITED for the content of one of their albums.
