What happened to TOL?

Just. What happened? It used to be so alive. I never even got my shirt. D:

Well, I'm venturing out early Friday morning hoping not to get murdered by some hardcore shopping mom. I actually have some stuff I am wanting to get. Sweet Pappy Johnson. Bamboozle tickets go on sale that day too! But anyways, any suggestions on how to survive Friday?
Wow. It has been far too long since I have posted or done anything on here. I will be sure to post more often, but for now I leave you with one thought... Why did the Yankees have to win? What did we do to deserve this?!
This is a little late, but I couldn't not talk about Warped this year. I went to the St. Louis show and it was epic. Everything was great, except for the fact that I didn't get in early with my EARLY ENTRANCE PASS. -_- Oh well, it was still great. The lineup this year was pretty sick. I was able to catch parts or all of The Maine, VersaEmerge, Bad Religion, Bayside, Breathe Carolina, Westbound Train, Meg & Dia, Madina Lake, and A Day To Remember. I missed Hit the Lights and The Devil Wears Prada which was disappointing, but pretty much saw everyone I wanted to. Did you go? Definately hit me up if you did.
First off, wow, it has been a while. I haven't posted anything in nearly four months now. >.< I'm back in school now and things are definately crazy, but I will be trying my best to keep things updated.
Anyways, I thought I would talk about how Invisible Children has recently affected my life. I actually first found out about it on this wonderful site, when I saw the live feed of the people standing outside of Harpo Studios trying to get Oprah to rescue them. I mentioned it to one of my friends and it happened that his sister had just went to The Rescue in St. Louis and had began to be involved. That same day, she headed out to join the crowd in Chicago. Last month, she was able to get some of the roadies to come down and show a screening at the local cinema. There wasn't a big crowd, but I was happy for every single person that showed up. A teacher from my high school was there and her daughter had just found out about Invisible Children. I see an opportunity for the taking here. My friend has been granted the permission to create a story and show it on GCTV during the morning annoucements. I plan on writing a piece for the newspaper. Things are happening and I am excited about making others aware of issues going on around the world and more importantly, the fact that we can help.
I have big hopes and I guess I will just have to see what happens next.
First off, I just want to say that I am completely jealous of you all who are going to Bamboozle. I had plans to, but then they were crushed. However, I will be in St. Louis for Warped on August 3rd!!! I can hardly wait so I might as well start talking about it now. Hit me up if you find out you are going!
Random Update! Me rambling away about nothing:
Well I took another trip to Nashville this weekend. It made me think of TOL! Honestly, Rocketown was a huge disappoint this time. I wasn't down with all the local metalcore bands and the people that decided to act like idiots. I was standing behind a girl on the edge when they started a circle pit and a guy came running full speed, then dove on top of her. Way to go dude. He basically flattened her and once she got up, she could barely walk away. Honestly, is that necessary? I would've rather have gone to Rocketown Unplugged on Friday anyways. On Saturday, my friend and I went to LP Field to watch his dad run in the Country Music 1/2 Marathon and Marathon. It was pretty awesome to stand and watch the people cross the finish line after running for hours. O_O That is basically what went down this weekend. Oh yeah, I ate at some boat dock and had Crabwich. AMAZING. Well that is all. Sorry if you felt like you just wasted 60 seconds of your life. Peace! XD
(This is a re-post. There were some problems with my account and I lost my content when the problem was fixed. I still am new though!)
Hey guys! This is my first blog, so bear with me. I thought that I would share a little bit about me beforehand, so here it goes:
I'm Jon and I am Asian if you couldn't tell by now. XD I was adopted when I was 4 months old and flown all the way from South Korea to Kentucky. I guess I am a pretty laid back person. Music is no doubt the love of my life.. for now. There is something about it that breaks the barrier that senseless words seem to limit me to. I am mostly into pop-punk, alternative, post-hardcore, screamo, punk, acoustic, metalcore, eletronica, etc. etc. etc. I love most anything related, but will give anything a try. I love playing guitar and going to shows. I actually discovered TOL at the Plea CD Release show at Rocketown. Killer. Enough said.
I just want to thank everyone at The One Love for telling me about and allowing me to be a part of this amazing movement. I'm not all that good at describing myself so you should find out about me for yourself. Talk it up. I promise, I love new friends! :] Check it out:

I'm on a lot of other websites too so just ask. Well if you are still reading this, thanks for not giving up on me! ^_^ This is all for now but this won't be the last time you hear from me. Peace!
