Stuffed.
October 02, 2008
I was at my friend's (Tasha) house this afternoon for her Raya celebrations. It's fun to experience the celebrations of a Malay family.
Here she is, in an extremely pretty kebaya outfit from Indonesia. :o)

The thing about living in Malaysia is that you will NEVER starve once the festivities start rolling. With so many races throwing open-houses throughout the year, no one can escape over-indulging in the varietie s of food served.
My biggest worry? Going o verboard with the rendang (refer to Sylvia's blog) intake. Brrr. Have that for lunch, go for a movie, down a Caramel Macchiato after that and you know you will have to start swimming daily for the next week to work it off.
....which I probably won't do. Maybe I should fast DURING the celebrations. LOL.
College resumes on Oct 6th. Gah. :(
Now, if I could get the iMac's MSN Messenger to STOP quitting on me.. I will conclude my day in less than 2 hours' time.

Ohh yes, I so need to exercise after all the food I've eaten this few days too. But 2 weeks of exams means I'll eat more. Hahah my highlight for this Raya is not Rendang, but Ketupat! I've never tasted such delicious ketupat from my dad's student's place in my entire life lol!
