I think my cell phone likes to swim....

So my phone is broken again... Which makes me think maybe I have a problem...

in the year 2007-2008 I broke 13 razors... 13... Granted some of them weren't my fault... I blame so much on that the razor is just a bad phone... The screen would always freeze, buttons would randomly stop working... but a couple times I spilled coffee on it, or droped one in the toilet... ran over one with a car... ya know the usual:) heehee

But i'm starting to think maybe this isn't usual... Because finally after two years of being stuck with a terrible razor (well 13 different terrible razors) because Verizon just would NOT give me a different phone... I finally have  beautiful Blackberry Pearl... AWESOME...

i've had it for a couple months now... and it rocks... 

But this is a little ironic... Thursday afternoon I began recording some new songs at my buddy Coach's house in the hamptons... The first song we were recording is called Gonna Go Wrong For Me... which has a line about my cell phone..

"I think my cell phone likes to swim cuz there it goes again.. I guess you probably can't hear me now..."

And than I think about my song Getaway which also has a swimming cell phone line... this time it was on purpose though! About a guy who cheats on his girlfriend...

"Took the car, I know it's yours... 

well I don't care.. I'm not scared...

threw your phone in the pool...

I guess she won't be calling you"

So yeah clearly this thing with the busted cell phones is getting to me...

Anyway in the middle of tracking drums for a song I wrote about how I have TERRIBLE luck, sweet tea gets spilled on my beautiful blackberry...  So for the past few days it's been taken apart and blow dried  and stuck in rice (the people on the internet swear by it)... weird.... 

it kinda works...

hopefully sometime I will get over this weird phone thing...
