The start of something new!

The title of this post has nothing to do with High School Musical whatsoever, even though it suddenly hit me last week that Zac Efron -- despite being prettier than most of the boys I know -- is actually really good to look at :P

So, you ask, what is this "something new"? A friend and I were sitting around having one of those late, lazy afternoon lunches at this place that serves amazing claypot sizzling noodles (yes, they're really called that) sometime last week when I casually mentioned that my photography skills were going nowhere, what with constant nonstop assignments plaguing the lot of us. My friend laughed, thought a moment and said, "Hey, why don't you try that Project 365 thing that every blogger seems to be doing? You may think it's already kind of cliche, but it sure helps! Give it a go!"

And so, after some thought & some procrastination, I took her advice!

Day One, 30th April 2008:

Florence (on the right) and I were taking photos for the storyboard of our filming assignment when I noticed that opposite us was a huge reflective surface that served as a wall.

We're going to be making short video clips using a semi-professional camera! Not our first time filming, but it's actually the first time we're going to be graded for it! Eek, I hope I don't screw up!

Day Two, 1st May 2008:

My collegemates, Irene, Alicia and Pei Ling sharing a light moment in the pool at the poolside party we held yesterday with the profits that we got from that Media Carnival we held last year as a sort of reward for us :P

We had scrumptious barbeque, pasta, fruit punch (that I suspect someone spiked, because everyone went slightly nuts later during the day) and Baskin Robbins ice cream.
